The HoneyMoon Period

Hello people of the world,

Firstly I would like to apologize for neglecting my blog. *sad face*

The reason this has happened is actually very exciting.

I HAVE A LOVELY NEW BOYFRIEND

*cue soppy lovey dovey music*

As of right now he doesn't know about my blog so i can't name him right now but I'm sure there will be many blog post to follow with the two of us together and I'm sure there will be some photo's to come too. :)

I'm currently in what people call the honeymoon period; I am very loved up and I am currently spending every waking (and non waking) hour with him. Hence the lack of blogging

This is how he makes me feel;

FOTD (with new products)

This week I bought some new products from superdrug which included a new primer. I had never used a primer before but I wish I had. It makes such a difference. My make up looks better and lasts all day! The primer I bought was Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer for normal to combination skin. The texture is almost like a gel and it goes on very smoothly and absorbed very quickly. And at only £3.98 you cannot really go wrong.

I also bought a new foundation which for me is the most difficult piece of make up to buy as I find matching my skin tone almost impossible, and the lighting in the shops makes the colours look a slightly different shade to what they actually are. However I went with Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation in 201 Classic Beige. This colour was the closest match to my skin however just slightly too dark so to balance the colour out I bought Rimmel London Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder in 006 warm beige. This powder does actually last a long time and is easily applied with a brush onto my forehead, temples, cheeks, nose and chin. This keeps all the shiny areas clear and matte looking.
My cheeks have Rimmel London Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in 010 Santa Rose, which is a really subtle pretty pink colour which just adds a little without being over the top.

On my eyes I have Rimmel London Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner in 061 Jet Black. This eyeliner is very easy to apply however it is not waterproof and I have very watery eyes so it smudges quite easily, so I may have to invest in another one that is waterproof. I am also wearing liquid liner on my eyelids but I have had it such a long time the label has rubbed off and I no longer know what it is. Perhaps it is time for a new one.
Another new purchase is my new eyeshadow colour. It is a beautiful shimmery beige. Rimmel London Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Stick/Crayon in 002 Bulletproof Beige. This stuff is amazing. I'm not kidding it says 24 hour waterproof. And it is! It goes on so smoothly like it's a liquid but it stays put all day!
My mascara is another new purchase from Rimmel (are you noticing a pattern here) it is the Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara in 001 Black. I like this as it has a thin brush. Many mascara now have massive fat brushes that just get clogged and make your lashes clumpy. This however is brilliant. It's very black and makes my lashes long and curly, everything you expect a mascara to do. However as I mentioned about my watery eyes I may have to get a waterproof one.

Finally, on my lips I have my newest favourite lipstick Rimmel London Kate Moss Collection Lasting Finish Lipstick in shade 05. This is matte genius. It's not so matte it's sticky and stiff but its not slippery either. It's amazing and I will be purchasing more colours.

Anyway that's my Face of The Day. Sorry about the fact that I have not included prices or links but this is because I have not kept the receipts (slaps hand) and of the layout is different I apologize as I have posted this from my phone.

Hair Product Haul.

This week I have been shopping for hair products. This is because I kept stealing my mum's and she wasn't too happy because I kept using them all up......So I went and bought things I had heard great things about and thought I would try them myself. here is what I bought.....

Urban Fudge Iced Raspberry and Vanilla  Styling Mouse
Around £6 @ Superdrug
I bought This to add volume to my hair. It does just that. Its brilliant and it smells good enough to eat. Only apply to damp hair though as it will go crispy, and nobody wants crispy fringe :(

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Urban and Edgy Graffiti
£2.99 @ Boots
I have always loved batiste dry shampoo. I use it all the time. I've realised that makes me sound like a tramp that doesn't wash their hair. I assure you I'm not and I do wash my hair, I just like it to always look nice, and this new urban and edgy graffiti dry shampoo makes it smell gorgeous too.
Urban Fudge Sea Salt Texturising Spray
 £6.99 @ Superdrug
I read somewhere that adding sea salt to your hair helps your curls look natural and stay all day. I bought this hoping for great things and it delivered. I really like the way that this sea salt makes my hair naturally curl when its drying. It smells gorgeous and makes perfect "beachy" waves.
Vosene Kids Extra Shine & Detangler Spray
£1 @ Savers
This looks like an odd thing for someone of 18 years old to buy, but it really works at getting the tangles out of your hair. It also repels head lice (which I don't have) but you know its an added bonus. I also like the fact  it says it will make you a pretty princess which is kinda cool. It also smells like tea tree which is like the best smell ever!
V05 Strong Hold Weather Resistant Hairspray
33.05 @ Boots
I have a very annoying fringe that doesn't sit the way I like it too, so I bought some strong hold hairspray in the hope that i could make it stay. I was rather cautious when trying this product for the first time, as many strong hold products leave your hair feeling heavy and crispy. This was not the case and when it says weather resistant. It means it. I live in England where it rains a lot and this hairspray kept my hair in place all day even though the wind and the rain.

Andrew Barton "The Frizz Tamer" Shampoo and Conditioner
£4 Each @ Asda

I know this seems silly but I do not have frizzy hair. So why did I buy "Frizz Tamer" hair products you may ask? Well I have a problem with flyaway hair. This works really well as a solution to this problem. One thing is bugging me though. It smells like a lemmony sweet I used to have as a kid and I cannot remember what they were called. So if anyone has this and knows what it smells like please tell me. Would be much appreciated.

Bet You Didn't Know That!

This is me ^^.
Yes I look like a dork! But it was my birthday therefore allowed. This was potentially the best day ever. I turned 18 which meant I was legal. I felt like I had to wait for ages for this to happen, but once it did it wasn't that exciting. I remember this day being sunny, which for England is a rare occasion. I spent that morning shopping in town and got bought louts of lovely things from my mummy, which included a pair of wickedly awesome weird fish wellies! We spent lunch time in the pub before setting off on the magical journey to Reading Festival!!!!! That weekend was probably the best weekend ever! I not only saw my favourite bands like the Foo Fighters, All Time Low and Paramore, I learnt that bands I'd heard of but never listened to were actually very good like Clement Marfo and the Frontline and Florence and the Machine.
This was 6 months ago now and in this blog I will be chatting awesome things like, music, fashion, beauty, life and all that jazz :)
